Support Services

Western Exterior Services, Inc. provides construction Support Services for Investigation of Existing Construction. Construction professionals who evaluate building problems and specify solutions often require construction services for evaluation of existing construction.  We provide these services.   Support services generally consist of careful removal of building envelope components for observation and documentation of existing conditions.  Removal of interior finishes might also be required.  Restoration of interior and exterior finishes must sometimes be done to exacting standards, even if the work is temporary. 

Special permits and equipment are sometimes required to carry out the work.  Use of scaffolding, man lifts, swing stages, and temporary sanitary facilities are all common in carrying out this work.  Building permits are not generally required; however, some task might require street use, sidewalk or other right of way permits that must be secured in advance from the appropriate regulatory agency. We provide trained discrete personnel, subcontractors, and all other logistic support the to construction professionals, in order that they may focus on their work.  In order to quickly respond to unknown conditions we have fully equipped a service truck for support service work.

In some cases emergency repair such as; shoring, or mold clean-up is also required. We have many open projects at which we are providing support services.  Many of these projects are in litigation.   We do not produce reports, or provide expert opinions as to the conditions that are being evaluated; therefore, no reference projects are listed for support service.
