Jack checks the drill shavings for indications of decay. All posts were inspected by drilling to the core.

The inspection holes were filled with 20cc of the gel. The following day solid borate Impel Rods were placed into the drill holes and the holes were plugged.

| Even treated wood was injected and plugged with borate. The cut part of the treated wood was also separated from the concrete with a bituminous sheet. |
