Damage Prevention

The Damage at the corners is associated with water exposure to water from the overlying surfaces

Water ran directly off wide copings onto the stucco surface of the wall

Stucco and the underlying weather-resistive-barrier (WRB) should hold up with water running over the vertical surface; nevertheless, run-off control is advisable.

The copings were reconfigured. The short gutters were added. A new gable flashing was applied at the composition roofing. Together these changes redirect the water into the gutter system.
