| Water ran directly off wide copings onto the stucco surface of the wall |

Stucco and the underlying weather-resistive-barrier (WRB) should hold up with water running over the vertical surface; nevertheless, run-off control is advisable.
|
| The copings were reconfigured. The short gutters were added. A new gable flashing was applied at the composition roofing. Together these changes redirect the water into the gutter system. |
